Chapter 2 Recaps: Lucy and Dave keep up the charade. They go to a salsa club with the rest of the staff and perform a very sexual dance. Carter and Roxanne show up just as they begin. Carter isn't happy, Roxanne flirts with Dave and asks for lessons from him rather than Carter who could teach her just as well. Carter and Lucy have an argument and than decide to share a dance.

CHAPTER THREE:

We left off with Roxanne and Dave salsaing and Carter and Lucy moving out onto the dance floor(for explaination and previews of the salsa moves, go to the url listed on chapter two). Dave and Roxanne were starting off with the basic steps, and Lucy and Carter were taking the more advanced approach although they didn't look as good because of the sexual tension. They wouldn't close the space between them. Dave lead Roxanne over to them and said "Ayúdeme por favor! Dígalo usted quiere que él baile con ella tan ella no se siente abandonado. Quiero presumir con usted un poco(Help me please! Tell him you want him to dance with her so she doesn't feel abandoned. I want to show off with you a little)." "Si(yeah)", turning to Carter. "Why don't you go and dance with Roxanne a bit. Wouldn't want her feeling abandoned by her boyfriend, now would we?" "Yeah, that's a good idea. By the way what other languages to you speak, maybe you and I have one in common and we speak so know one else can hear us. Like with patients. We wouldn't have to leave the room." "Yeah maybe, I speak german, spanish, french and some italian." "I speak french and german too." "Well I'll see you after." "K, bye" Carter walks over to Roxanne and Dave runs over to Lucy and mentally thanks her, as well as physically by proceeding to kiss her, full of tongue. She wasn't ready for that yet. She and Dave had never gone far enough to play tonsil hockey. He must have been a hockey player, cause he sure was winning! He started to lead her out onto the dance floor and they went at in once again.

THE STAFF AT THE TABLE:

Haleh, Malik and Roxanne and Carter who had just sat down were talking when Malik said "Woah, you guys look at Dave and Lucy, look where his hands are!" They all looked over to the couple. Dave had one hand on her cheek and the other on her ass. Haleh spoke up next, "Yeah, well look where her's are!" One of Lucy's hands was on his bare chest, she had unbuttoned it and the other was on the fly of his tight leather pants. "Oh God!" "John, honey did you say something?" "No, nothing. Nothing at all. I'll be back in a minute." Carter got up and walked towards the bathroom. He leaned on the sink and splashed his face with cold water. "Why does she get to me so much, she's just my student. I'm with Roxanne. Argghh! Why?" He got up and left. He walked out just as Lucy and Dave were sitting down. He took Roxanne's hand, kissed it and pulled her out onto the dance floor. "But John, I was just talking to Dave. I don't feel like dancing right now." "Oh come on Rox, just dance with me." Roxanne danced with him, but Lucy help but notice how she kept looking over at Dave, who at the point was actually having a civil conversation with Deb. Roxanne turned toward Carter and continued to dance, though as the song continued on, her feelings for John were not. As time went on she felt, herself pulling away from him. She looked over to the table and surprised herself at the fact that she wasn't looking at Dave, but and a Dr. Kim Legaspi. Roxanne couldn't explain the attraction she felt towards the other woman. She pulled away from John and asked him to get her a drink. A martini. She thought she was gonna need it. She was going to break up with John and ask the lovely Doctor to come back to her condo. She walked over to the doctor.

AT THE BAR:

Carter got the martini and turned around just in time to see Roxanne leaving, hand in hand with Dr. Legaspi. She yelled to him that it was over. He walked over to the table and swallowed the martini in one gulp. Roxanne left him for a woman? A woman? How could she have broken up with him over a woman for her, not himself? He didn't get. "Dr. Carter don't tell me that Roxanne just dumped you for Kim." Lucy asked him. He nodded and she burst out laughing along with the rest of the people sitting around the table.
